Another six weeks of winter… Maybe?
Shubenacadie Sam emerged today from his burrow at the Shubenacadie Wildlife Centre and predicted another 6 weeks of winter for Nova Scotia. As one of Nova Scotia’s two weather predicting groundhog, I guess we can’t hold his 6 more weeks of winter prediction against the little guy. And with temperature dipping down to -17 this morning, It's not hard to agree.But wait! Two Rivers Tunnel at the Two Rivers Wildlife Park in Cape Breton emerged from his burrow this morning, and did not see his shadow, predicting an early spring.
I don’t know about you, but I’m going to go with Two Rivers Tunnel on this one. At the very least we can settle on a 3 more weeks of winter prediction.
